Can you believe we haven’t been on a field trip in what seems like the three longest years of our life,so I think ; no I no the class of 2021 deserves a well thought out, scholarly but entertaining field trip.Where you why to the state capitol of where we will not only have a great time but also learn about our home!
The excitement we will be feeling is unimaginable, as we walk to one of these three beautiful movie theaters. Or go to their amazingly interesting Texas Museum where we will have a great time.Or we can even listen to recordings of JFK Abe Lincoln and George Washington on phones from the 1800.
I speak from experience when I say we all learn something new about our home.Last time I went my mind was blown by the museum.A personal favorite is the Texas State Preservation Board because it looked and smelled like freshly painted gold.
So I’ve come to the conclusion that the class of 2021 not only deserves but needs a well thought out educational and fun field trip.

The Shot
It was the first week of bow season, and my hands were sweating and my knees were shaking I knew I couldn’t miss or my dad would be bragging about his doe for the next week.My Nana and I were the only ones who didn’t see anything until now our one chance so I pulled back the bow string, put the arrow and aimed down the sight breathing heavily and pulled the trigger! The bow got heavy all of the sudden, so I finally walked out looking for the rabbit and the arrow .I found the rabbit and the arrow but the rabbit didn’t have a mark chest so looked closer then I realized I hit the rabbit in the eye!I whispered to my Nana with excitement ” I hit it I hit the rabbit right in the eye!” I knew my Dad and Papa would be proud when I showed them where I hit it.So my Nana and I took a couple pictures then we heard them so we ran to the truck but as I got in one coyote stared dead at me. So at the end of the day I learned that with patience comes a reward.
Debate
Every kid shouldn’t get a trophy because not all of them try as hard and it makes kids think they get a reward for just showing up.My point is that you don’t A’s for going to school or raise for coming to work, so it gives the wrong message to kids. That’s why I think every kid shouldn’t get a trophy.
